Dharwad, April 27 -- union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Monday reacted to a statement by Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, saying the Congress leader himself had acknowledged that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had paved the way for the BJP's growth in the state.
"I would not like to talk about politics at this moment, but I can only point out that Rahul Gandhi himself has stated that Mamata Banerjee has opened the gateway for the BJP. These are his words, not mine," Joshi told reporters here.
He refrained from elaborating further, maintaining that the remark made by Gandhi was self-explanatory.
