London, Nov. 7 -- England pacer Josh Tongue has been ruled out of their three-match ODIseries against Australia, commencing on November 13 in Perth.
Tongue will return to the UK, where he will undergo further assessment to determine the extent of the injury and the next steps in his recovery.
The injury comes as a setback for England ahead of their white-ball assignments in Australia, with the team set to take on the hosts in both ODI and T20I series, according to ICC.
