Itanagar, Nov. 2 -- A joint ground-level survey of the disputed Rukmo sector has been proposed as part of efforts to resolve the long-pending inter-state boundary issue between Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
The proposal was discussed on Monday at a Regional Committee meeting involving Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh and Tinsukia district of Assam, where representatives of both States deliberated on the outstanding boundary concerns and the need for an amicable and lasting settlement.
