Shimla, Oct. 5 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday directed the Health Department to allow job trainee doctors to pursue postgraduate (PG) courses, while doctors seeking permission for super-speciality courses would also be allowed to do so with enhanced bond conditions.
Presiding over a review meeting of the Health Department here, Sukhu said the duration and amount of the bonds would be enhanced to ensure that doctors return to the state after completing their courses and continue to serve people. This, he said, would ultimately benefit patients in Himachal Pradesh.
