Kolkata, May 25 -- Job aspirants gathered in large numbers outside the BJP's Salt Lake office on Monday to meet Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari during the government's 'Janatar Darbar' programme.

Representatives of around 15 organisations of job seekers reportedly arrived to place their grievances before the Chief Minister.

As there was a huge rush, security personnel struggled to manage the crowd as aspirants queued up to meet the Chief Minister one by one.

Many among them were candidates allegedly deprived of jobs due to the recruitment scam, while representatives of the 26,000 teachers and non-teaching staff who lost their jobs following a Supreme Court order were also present.
