Jammu, June 21 -- The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is planning to set up 'Pink Toilets' at selected locations across the city within municipal limits, aimed at enhancing sanitation facilities for women and children.

Pink Toilets are dedicated public washrooms exclusively designed for women and children. Easily identifiable by their distinctive pink colour, these facilities are intended to improve hygiene, safety and accessibility.

"The Municipal Corporation is fully prepared to take concrete steps to ensure a clean and hygienic city," JMC Commissioner Dr Devansh Yadav told UNI.

He said that after expanding the network of public toilets in the city, the Corporation is now working on the proposal to introduce Pink Toilets.
