Bhubaneswar, July 31 -- Reliance Jio emerged as the biggest gainer in Odisha's telecom market in June 2026, adding the highest number of new mobile and home broadband subscribers, according to the latest subscription data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Jio added more than 1.13 lakh new mobile subscribers during the month, accounting for nearly 80 per cent of the state's total net mobile subscriber additions. The state's overall mobile subscriber base increased by over 1.41 lakh to cross 3.86 crore as of June 30, 2026.
Among other operators, Vodafone Idea added 16,885 mobile subscribers, while Airtel gained 13,633 users. BSNL, meanwhile, lost 3,678 subscribers during the month, the TRAI data showed.
