Ranchi, Feb. 4 -- Bringing relief to families in Jharkhand, Health Minister Irfan Ansari on Wednesday confirmed that migrant workers from Giridih and Hazaribagh districts stranded in Dubai are completely safe and will be brought back to India within the next one or two days.
The Health Minister said he was personally distressed after receiving information about the workers being allegedly held up in Dubai. He noted that family members were in constant touch with him, repeatedly appealing for the safe return of their children.
"As soon as information came that workers from Jharkhand were stranded in Dubai, people from Jharkhand living there were immediately mobilised," Ansari said.
