Delhi/Ranchi, July 10 -- Jharkhand signed 14 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) involving proposed investments of Rs 99,639 crore across the industry, information technology and tourism sectors during the valedictory session of the two-day National Stakeholders' Consultation.

The biggest investment proposal came from Jindal Steel Ltd, which signed an MoU worth Rs 40,000 crore, followed by Jindal Nuclear Power Pvt Ltd with Rs 30,000 crore. Other companies signing agreements included Jindal Renewables Pvt Ltd, Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd, Rungta Mines Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd, Amalgam Steel and Power Ltd, Ambuja Cement Ltd and Varun Beverages.
