Ranchi, March 3 -- The administration in Jharkhand has made extensive preparations to ensure that Holi is celebrated in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. Stringent security arrangements have been put in place across the state, including the capital Ranchi.

Acting on directives from the police headquarters, additional forces have been deployed in sensitive areas, religious places, and crowded locations. Around 5,000 personnel from the Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP), Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB), and the Home Guard have been assigned to maintain law and order across the state. In Ranchi alone, nearly 3,000 additional police personnel have been deployed.
