Ranchi, June 15 -- The NDA legislature party on Monday expressed confidence over the victory of its supported Rajya Sabha candidate Parimal Nathwani, asserting that all alliance legislators were united ahead of the June 18 election.
The assertion came after a meeting of NDA legislators held at the BJP state headquarters here under the chairmanship of state BJP president Aditya Sahu.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, BJP chief whip Navin Jaiswal said all legislators belonging to NDA constituents were firmly backing Nathwani and his victory in the Rajya Sabha election was "fully assured".
