Ranchi, July 28 -- Hockey Jharkhand on Tuesday announced an 18-member squad for the 16th Hockey India Junior National Men's Hockey Championship to be held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, from July 28 to August 8.
The team was picked following a multi-stage selection process. Forty-two players were shortlisted through open trials held on June 22 and attended a special coaching camp from July 15 to 19. Twenty-three players were retained for the final phase of the camp from July 20, after which the final 18-member squad was announced.
