Ranchi, Aug. 28 -- Jharkhand Minority Welfare and Water Resources Minister Hafizul Hasan Ansari is under observation at a private hospital after developing a lung infection, Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari said today.
Dr. Ansari said the minister's CT scan, echocardiogram, and other reports are normal, but he had breathing difficulties.
"He is feeling better after starting medication, but doctors will monitor him for the next 24 hours.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren has advised shifting him to Delhi if needed, but it is not necessary at present," he added.
Hafizul Hasan's health had worsened during the monsoon session of the Jharkhand Assembly.
