Ranchi, June 30 -- The Jharkhand Home Guard Welfare Association on Tuesday demanded immediate release of pending honorarium and allowances, alleging that payments to Home Guard personnel deployed in various government departments had remained pending for months in several cases.
Association general secretary Rajeev Kumar Tiwari said many Home Guards who performed election duty during the urban local body polls were yet to receive their honorarium.
He alleged that personnel deployed in different departments, including the Health Department, were also facing delays in payment.
