Ranchi, June 11 -- The Jharkhand High Court has dismissed a writ petition challenging a 2012 order of the then Lokayukta which had alleged bias on the ground that the complaint involved the Lokayukta's brother.
Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, in a judgment delivered on June 9, held that there was no illegality in the Lokayukta's decision rejecting a complaint seeking an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or the Accountant General into alleged financial irregularities connected with Ranchi University.
