Ranchi, April 24 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Friday said youth are central to India's present and future, calling for inclusive growth with participation of tribal communities.
Addressing a national conference organised by Friends of Tribals Society (FTS YUVA) in Ranchi, he said empowering tribal society is key to achieving balanced national development.
The Governor said the organisation's work in education and social awareness has contributed to improving lives in tribal areas and promoting self-confidence and cultural identity.
He said initiatives aimed at reaching the last mile through education and awareness play an important role in building an informed and self-reliant society.
