Ranchi, Jan. 12 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi paid rich tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary on Monday.
Governor Gangwar, in a social media message, described Swami Vivekananda as a great philosopher and visionary, extending heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of National Youth Day.
He said that Swami Vivekananda's thoughts and ideals, which brought global recognition to Indian culture, continue to inspire generations of youth.
Chief Minister also paid homage, calling Swami Vivekananda a perennial source of inspiration for young people. He extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people on National Youth Day.
