Ranchi, March 17 -- The Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries on Tuesday raised concerns over problems in vehicle registration and online processes handled by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and district transport offices.
The issues were discussed during a meeting of the Heavy Earth Moving Machinery sub-committee held at the Chamber Bhawan.
Members, including vehicle owners and transport operators, said corrections in district names during temporary registration of HMV vehicles, JCBs, loaders and buses were not being carried out, causing inconvenience.
They also pointed out delays in registration of BS-IV vehicles and technical glitches in the online system affecting issuance of new trade licences.
