Ranchi, June 23 -- The Jharkhand BJP on Tuesday paid tribute to Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee on his martyrdom day, with party leaders remembering his contribution to national unity and integrity.
State BJP president Aditya Sahu and organisation general secretary Karmveer Singh offered floral tributes at Mukherjee's statue and portrait at the party's state headquarters and Mukherjee Park in Ranchi. Similar programmes were organised across the state's organisational units.
Addressing party workers, Sahu said Mukherjee dedicated his life to preserving India's unity, integrity and cultural identity.
