Ranchi, Feb. 18 -- The Jharkhand Biodiversity Board (JBB) organised a one-day workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Biodiversity Governance on Wednesday at Courtyard by Marriott Ranchi, Kanke Road.
The programme brought together forest officials, scientists, teachers, researchers, administrative officers and members of Biodiversity Management Committees from across the state to deliberate on legal safeguards and conservation strategies related to biological resources.
JBB Chairman Vishwa Nath Shah, IFS, highlighted the growing relevance of IPR in protecting biological resources and traditional knowledge.
