Ranchi, Sept. 3 -- A special committee of the Jharkhand Assembly on Thursday reviewed issues related to overburden dumps in Dhanbad and directed BCCL and other agencies to take time-bound action on land disputes, compensation and encroachment.
The meeting of the Special Committee on Questions and Attention Matters was held at the Assembly here. The committee was constituted to examine matters related to OB dumps in Dhanbad.
Dhanbad City Superintendent of Police informed the committee about the investigation into a case registered against the owner and director of M/s Devprabha Construction Pvt Ltd in connection with allegations arising out of an FIR lodged by the Circle Officer, Baliapur.
