Ranchi, Nov. 10 -- A road accident late Sunday night claimed two lives and left four others critically injured in Ranchi's Dhurwa police station area.
The accident occurred at Seethiyo Tang Tang Toli on the Ring Road when a speeding trailer rammed into an auto-rickshaw with great force.
According to police sources, the collision was so severe that the auto was completely mangled on the spot. Two passengers died instantly, while four others sustained grievous injuries.
Preliminary information suggests that all the passengers were residents of Bharno in Gumla district. They were returning home after attending a religious function when the accident took place.
