Ranchi, March 3 -- Omkar Nath Jha, State President of the Jharkhand Fair Price Shop Dealers Association and Working President of the All India Fair Price Shop Dealers Association, passed away on Tuesday.
He was around 75 years old and had been unwell for the past few days. He breathed his last at a hospital in Ranchi.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, and other family members. News of his demise has sent a wave of grief among Public Distribution System (PDS) dealers across Jharkhand and other parts of the country.
Family sources said that about 20 days ago, Jha had suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during a private function in Ranchi. He was initially admitted to Paras Hospital and later shifted to Samford Hospital after his condition...
