Ranchi, Oct. 26 -- A delegation of the Munda community on Monday met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and sought correction of caste entries in online land records for 18 villages in six panchayats under Bundu circle in the Tamar Assembly constituency.
The delegation informed the Chief Minister that the caste name in the online khatiyan (land record) had been entered as "Swasi" instead of "Munda", causing difficulties for residents of the affected villages.
The meeting was held at the Chief Minister's residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi.
