Khunti, Oct. 23 -- Hundreds of people took out a silent march in Khunti on Friday, demanding the arrest of those responsible for the attack on Father Benedict Barla, principal of RC Boys Middle School.
Men, women, youths and elderly people participated in the march, seeking an impartial investigation and swift action against the perpetrators.
Father Barla was allegedly attacked on Tuesday night, October 20. He was found unconscious and bleeding on the school premises the following morning and was referred to a private hospital in Ranchi. His condition was reported to be stable and improving.
