Dhanbad, July 14 -- A police constable was killed and three others were injured after a Hazaribagh police vehicle returning from a raid rammed into a stationary trailer on the GT Road in Dhanbad district early on Tuesday, police said.
The accident occurred around 4 am near Jora Pipal under Barwadda police station limits. The police team from Chalkusha police station in Hazaribagh district was returning after conducting a raid in Maithon when the vehicle collided with the trailer parked on the roadside.
The deceased was identified as Ram Lakhan Yadav. The injured, identified as Naresh Kumar, Green Paswan and Gaurav Kumar, were admitted to Asharfi Hospital at Baramuri in Dhanbad for treatment.
