Ranchi, Sept. 8 -- The Jharkhand Congress on Tuesday rejected the BJP's allegations of irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and accused the party of targeting Muslims and raising unsubstantiated claims over electoral rolls.
Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee media in-charge Rakesh Sinha said the BJP should submit evidence before the Election Commission if it had specific objections regarding citizenship or inclusion of names in the voter list.
"If the BJP has evidence, it should place it before the competent authorities instead of making allegations at press conferences," Sinha said.
