Ranchi, May 27 -- A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delegation on Wednesday visited Kadamtoli village in Ranchi's Chanho police station area and met a family allegedly assaulted by a group of people, demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
The seven-member team, constituted by BJP state president Aditya Sahu and led by party state vice-president Nilkanth Singh Munda, visited the spot and gathered information from the affected family regarding the incident.
Munda alleged that despite three days having passed since the incident, police had failed to arrest the accused. He also questioned the absence of attempt to murder charges in the FIR and alleged bias in the police investigation.
