Ranchi, July 26 -- Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi on Sunday demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged irregularities in the 14th Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) examination, alleging that the ongoing Criminal Investigation Department (CID) inquiry was intended to shield those responsible rather than uncover the truth.
Addressing a press conference at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state headquarters here, Marandi questioned Chief Minister Hemant Soren's reluctance to recommend a CBI investigation, alleging that the examination was part of a "planned scam" affecting the future of youths.
