Dhanbad, June 22 -- AJSU Party on Monday held a massive protest march and public rally in Dhanbad on its 41st foundation day, with party chief and former Deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Mahto launching a sharp attack on the Hemant Soren-led government.
The march, led by Mahto, began from Golf Ground and culminated at Nehru Complex Ground in Coal Nagar.
Party leaders claimed that workers from across Jharkhand, as well as neighbouring Odisha and West Bengal, participated in the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Mahto accused the state government of failing to protect public interests and alleged growing influence of mafias and illegal mining activities in the state.
