Bhubaneswar, March 7 -- Senior Congress leader and former union minister Srikant Jena on Saturday urged Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, to speed up the recruitment process and fill the backlog vacancies reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) teachers in government secondary schools across the state.
In a letter to the Chief Minister, Jena highlighted the serious shortage of teachers and drew attention to the large number of unfilled posts meant for SC and ST candidates in government secondary schools.
