Patna, Sept. 11 -- Thousands of JEEViKA didis in Bihar are setting new benchmarks across various fields through their hard work, dedication and entrepreneurial skills.

Rural Development and Information and Public Relations Minister Shrawan Kumar said that in a significant achievement, JEEViKA women have stitched uniforms for children studying in Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe residential schools and those enrolled at Anganwadi centres. Their efforts have not only generated a business turnover running into crores of rupees but have also helped provide attractive and quality uniforms to lakhs of children.
