Gopalganj, May 20 -- District and Session Judge-III-cum special judge MP and MLA court Rajendra Kumar Pandey today reserved a verdict on the anticipatory bail application of the ruling JDU MLA Anant Singh in connection with the case related to a viral video and an arms act.
After hearing the advocates of both parties, the judge reserved a verdict.
While arguing on behalf of Singh, the advocate Naresh Dikshit requested the court to grant bail to his client, pleading his innocence in the matter.
The case pertains to an FIR registered at Mirganj police station, in which JD(U) MLA Anant Singh, Bhojpuri artist Gunjan Singh, and seven others have been named as accused.
