Washington, Aug. 6 -- US Vice President JD Vance on Thursday said negotiations with Iran will be complicated and could take time, describing Tehran's political system as divided while insisting Washington is working toward an outcome that strengthens US interests.
Vance said the US is going to use all the tools, including military, economic, and diplomatic, to make sure "we bring this thing (war) to the right resolution."Vance's statement on negotiations assumes significance when Iran has been denying any formal talks taking place with Washington. Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said Tehran had not yet decided whether to move toward implementing a previously signed US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
