Bengaluru, June 29 -- Amid speculation over senior Congress leader and former CM Siddaramaiah's diminishing prominence within the party, Karnataka Satish Jarkiholi on Monday said politics inevitably rewards those who stay active, remarking that "one person is left behind before another comes forward."Responding to the controversy over Siddaramaiah's photograph reportedly being omitted from a recent Kempegowda Jayanti programme, Jarkiholi dismissed suggestions of deliberate sidelining, saying there was no official rule requiring any leader's photograph to be displayed at government functions.
"If the Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) organised the event, it should clarify the matter. We cannot speculate," he said.
