Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 10 -- Veteran journalist and Janmabhumi Resident Editor K. Kunjikannan (74) died at a private hospital here on Thursday.
Kunjikannan had been associated with Janmabhumi since the newspaper was launched in 1977 and had worked in the media sector for more than five decades. He was well known as a political journalist and author. Combining journalism with political activities, he was currently a member of the BJP State Committee.
His body will be kept for public homage at the Janmabhumi office and Press Club in Thiruvananthapuram and later at his residence at Thirumala. The cremation will be held at Shanthikavadam at 4 pm.
