Jammu, July 9 -- The President Shiv Sena UBT of Jammu and Kashmir unit, Manish Sahni today asked the government to fulfil the promise of giving government jobs to outstanding players who have earned laurels at various levels and immediately release the selection list to give relief to deserving athletes by ending their long wait of more than a decade.
Sahni, flanked by other leaders addressing a press conference here today said that the wait for getting government jobs for the players who have brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir is not coming to an end.
"After the amendment in SRO 349 by the government, the medal winners were promised government jobs every year in five gazetted and 25 non-gazetted categories under SO 12 in the year 2020...
