Srinagar, April 23 -- In a bid to curb drug abuse and trafficking, Police have launched a dedicated anonymous anti-drug tip line in north Kashmir's Baramulla and Sopore, encouraging citizens to confidentially share information on narcotics-related activities.
Police said the initiative aims to strengthen public participation in the fight against narcotics and ensure a safer, drug-free society.
In Baramulla district citizens can now confidentially provide inputs by contacting the anti-drug tip line number 9596767701. The police have assured that the identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
