Jammu, June 3 -- In a significant action against drug trafficking and its financial networks, Jammu and Kashmir Police has attached worth lakhs residential property of a drug peddler under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in the Doda district.
A police spokesman here on Wednesday said that the action has been taken under the relevant sections and during the investigation, substantial quantities of narcotic substances, cash proceeds and other incriminating material were recovered, indicating the involvement of the accused persons in illicit drug trafficking activities.
The investigation was conducted by SHO Police Station Doda under the close supervision of DySP Headquarters, Doda.
