Srinagar, June 28 -- Baramulla town in north Kashmir came alive on Sunday as over 800 runners from different parts of the country participated in the much-awaited in the Zoon Run- "Festival of Baramulla" marathon, turning the town into a vibrant celebration of fitness, sportsmanship and community spirit.

The marathon featured three race categories - 5 km, 10 km and 21 km - with competitions held separately for men and women across four age groups: Up to 35 years, 36-45 years, 46-55 years and 56 years & above.

Cash prizes were awarded to the top three finishers in every category, making it one of the biggest road-running events organised outside Srinagar.
