Jammu, June 12 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) has introduced 40 Cluster Sports Clubs on pilot basis across the union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to create a structured and sustainable pathway for talent identification and to strengthen grassroots-level sports training.

As per the official order issued by the Director General, J&K Youth Services and Sports, Anuradha Gupta, the Cluster Sports Clubs are introduced to promote area-specific sports disciplines with focus on Olympic sports, to ensure systematic coaching at the grassroots level and nurture sporting talent for higher levels of competition.
