Jammu, July 18 -- Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau today arrested an official of the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) in bribery case.

The official spokesman said that a complaint was received wherein it was alleged that one Kewal Krishan, a junior official of the Jammu Development Authority, demanded illegal gratification from the complainant for allowing further construction of the double storey building at Ballain Domana, Jammu.

The accused had demanded a bribe of Rs 20,000 from the complainant for allowing further construction of the double storey building at Ballain Domana, Jammu and has agreed to receive the first installment amounting to Rs 10,000 out of the demanded bribe, he said.
