Jammu, July 19 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police, along with the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), in a swift and coordinated rescue operation, rescued three children stranded in the River Tawi following a sudden rise in the water level near Peer Kho Temple here.
Police said that a distress call was received through reliable sources, informing them that three people who had gone bathing in the river were trapped after the water level rose unexpectedly.
Acting promptly on the information, the Police team from Jammu City North immediately rushed to the spot.
Through a well-coordinated rescue operation, all three people were safely rescued without any injuries.
