Jammu, May 6 -- A joint team of police and army have recovered two dead bodies during a search operation launched today after a car went missing due to harsh weather conditions and was later found in a deep gorge on Mughal Road in Surankote area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police here said that a car, which was on its way to Srinagar from Poonch side, reportedly went missing yesterday due to harsh weather conditions and snowfall.
The family members were unable to trace its whereabouts, upon which police initiated a search operation, they said and pointed that this afternoon, information was received that the vehicle with five persons on board, had fallen into a gorge near Ratta Chamb area of Poshana in Poonch.
