Jammu, July 17 -- A 30-yr-old man was killed and three personnel of Special Operations Group (SOG) suffered injuries in an incident of firing after he allegedly tried to snatch a service rifle from a cop in Bhaderwah area of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources here on Friday said that acting on specific inputs related to the suspicious movement, a team of SOG personnel late last night laid a special nakka along the Jaie-Gandoh road.
The SOG team around midnight intercepted a group who allegedly attacked them while a man attempted to snatch a service rifle, they said, adding, "a SOG jawan during the scuffle, accidentally opened a fire in which the youth allegedly sustained bullet injuries, while three cops were injured."Al...
