Jammu, Sept. 6 -- Launched in March 2022 at Jammu's Maulana Azad Stadium with the objective of giving impetus to the sport of fencing, the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCoE) for Fencing is allegedly on 'crutches', with the Centre battling for its existence due to the non-participation of enrolled trainees despite the engagement of manpower.
Although the post of High Performance Manager (HPM) at the KISCoE has remained vacant since January this year, the visibility of enrolled trainees on the ground also remains very poor.
