Jammu, Nov. 15 -- Jammu Police have arrested two persons with contraband heroin worth crores in Gandhi Nagar area here, dealing a major blow to the narcotics trade.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu, Joginder Singh told reporters here today that Jammu Police is relentlessly targeting both retail peddlers and commercial kingpins and all those involved in the drug trade are on the radar.
"During a routine naka checking near Cremation Ground in Shastri Nagar area, a patrol party effected a recovery of 3.26-kg of heroin (including packing) and arrested two persons, delivering a significant blow to drug traffickers and commercial dealers," said the SSP.
