Jammu, May 25 -- There is no respite from the prevailing heat wave conditions as the Jammu city today experienced the maximum temperature around 40.3 degrees Celsius.

Jammu district today recorded a maximum of 40.3 degrees Celsius, and the minimum was 24.6 degrees Celsius, while Katra town in Reasi district was the second hottest place at 37.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 22.6 degrees Celsius.

However, Banihal recorded 25.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 28.1 degrees Celsius, and Bhaderwah 27.2 degrees Celsius, according to the data provided by the MeT department.
