Glasgow, July 31 -- India's boxing campaign at the Commonwealth Games 2026 reached new heights on Friday as Jaismine Lamboria and Arundhati Choudhary powered into their respective gold medal bouts with dominant semifinal victories.

World champion Jaismine booked her place in the women's 57kg final after defeating Lesotho's Rapelang Maselela in a commanding display. The Indian boxer made a confident start, winning the opening round 5-0, and maintained her control throughout the contest with sharp combinations, effective movement and superior ring awareness.

Jaismine's victory kept India's golden hopes alive in boxing and added another major milestone to her impressive international career after her recent world championship triumph.
