New Delhi, Sept. 14 -- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday held a telephonic conversation with his Canadian counterpart, Anita Anand, during which the two ministers discussed bilateral cooperation and the situation in Ukraine.

"Good to speak with FM Anita Anand of Canada this evening, on our bilateral cooperation as well as on the Ukraine situation," Jaishankar said in a post on X.

The conversation comes amid renewed momentum in India-Canada relations, with both sides seeking to strengthen engagement across several areas of cooperation.
